We’re excited to share our latest work, with key contributions from Laura Schütze and Maria Musillo, and many helping hands across the lab. A true team effort!
We uncovered a spatially distinct population of muscle progenitors that remains less committed due to graded Wnt/β-catenin signaling, which represses Mef2. This reveals a new layer of spatial regulation in the developing muscle niche and offers insight into how stem cell potential is maintained during development. https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2025.07.17.665417v1
