Bilyana successfully completed her B.Sc. thesis in our lab, and we are proud of her progress and achievements. We are also happy that she will continue supporting our research as a Hiwi during her master’s studies at the University of Heidelberg.
We are pleased to finally welcome Mugdhaa, a new master’s student from India, to our lab after some hassle with obtaining her visa. We look forward to the fresh perspectives and contributions she will bring to our team.
Our collaborative project with Eileen Furlong and her team has been selected for funding by the Health + Life Science Alliance Heidelberg Mannheim. An exiting upcoming project!
Maria and Josy presented our latest findings on muscle stem cell niche heterogeneity, combining single-cell transcriptomics with advanced imaging.
She started with her master thesis project on cell-type specific Wnt activity in the AMPs. On the picture Maria and Laura are trying to see the GFP signling from CyO-Weep 🙂

The theme of the annual COS costume party was comics, so the lab decided to dress up as Flywomen. We had lots of fun making the costumes. Even more than that we enjoyed dancing at the party.
